Here’s the recipe for tofu that results in plant based cheese that is similar to feta cheese in its taste and texture. 180g natural tofu
1/3 chili pepper
juice of 1 lemon
salt (min. 2 tsp)
2 sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil
150ml olive oil
4 tbsp olive oil from sundried tomatoes
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
a few colored pepper grains
1 tsp Herbes de Provence
1 tsp white wine vinegar
Cut tofu into cubes and place it on a kitchen towel.
Chop tomatoes and chili pepper. Combine all the ingredients for the marinade. If necessary, add some more salt. Place tofu into a jar and add the marinade. Cover and leave in the fridge for at least 12 hours. Use in salads. Enjoy!
